Well the pandemic has finally hit the area I live, and I can finally agree with what the rest of you have been telling me all along. This is not fun. At all.
On the bright side, with not much better things to do (except all those things I have to do) I am making great progress on my side projects. Not that glaringly huge list of things I need to accomplish to get this series on the road... but I wrote a completely unrelated urban fantasy story. It stars side characters from a series I wrote as a break from the Undercity Heroes novels. So to recap, I spent most of the last month writing a piece to procrastinate writing the series I was using to procrastinate writing my novels.
It takes skill to get this off track. I swear. Anyone want to take a shot at outdoing me? I'd love to know your levels of peak procrastination.
Incoming prequel
Anyhow - back to the point - next time I speak with you, it should be to pass along the next prequel: Dennovan. This one follows one of the main characters of my series, Tia, in a mess she gets herself into three years before the novel series starts. She's a bit strange and mildly obsessed with hoverboards, so I hope you like her.
Anyone else really in love with the idea of hoverboards? Just me? Maybe it's not just Tia who's obsessed with the idea of them.
